    A non-refundable $45 USD application charge will be collected for all Graduate School (Doctoral, Education Specialist, Master's and Graduate Certificate) applications submitted. There is no application charge for: 
    • Guest
    • Non-Degree (Professional Development/ASAP)
    • OU Partnership OR
    • Expedited applications submitted and for those that meet specific criteria.
    You can apply to more than one program. If you are interested in applying as a:
    • Guest student, please visit our website and select Guest students.
    • Applications to the OU Graduate Nursing programs, must be submitted online through NursingCAS website. 
    • Applications to the OU Physical Therapy program, must be submitted online through PTCAS website. 
    • Applications to the OU Physician Assistant Science program, must be submitted online through CASPA website.  A supplemental payment charge of $100 is required. 
    Oakland University makes every effort to ensure licensure information is current; however, licensure regulations change frequently. If you live outside Michigan and are considering enrolling in a program that leads to a professional license or certification, we highly encourage you to contact the appropriate state licensing agency in your state or the state in which you intend to work to seek the most up-to-date information about state licensure requirements before enrolling in the program.

    To protect applicants and ensure the integrity of the admissions process, the Graduate School may require you to verify your identity during the review cycle. The Graduate School reserves the right to request additional documentation or verification steps at any point. Failure to complete this verification within the requested timeframe may delay your application review or result in your application being withdrawn. As a reminder, the application charge is nonrefundable.
